Abstract
The production of chicken meat is one of the important economic activities because it has the effect of providing job opportunities for unemployed youth to absorb and reduce the size of unemployment, as well as their contribution to the optimal exploitation of the land because it makes a profitable and steady profit in the land allocated to it and a small area compared to the rest of the uses of agricultural land The study shows that one dunum of land can be used to raise up to 10 000 chickens with all the necessary building supplies and other accessories.
The lack of government support to provide banking facilities and agricultural production requirements to poultry farmers has negatively affected the development of production and led to the reluctance of most entrepreneurs to exercise this activity for high production costs, especially feed and chicks.
