Özet
The study of personalities is one of the important historical studies, because of its effective and significant impact in revealing many historical facts and mysteries, but what is taken for such studies, especially in Islamic history, is limited to the study of personalities who held important political positions, such as sultans, caliphs, ministers, or those who He had a political impact on the government. While there are other personalities who did not receive an adequate share in the writings of historians, so there is a need to study and pay attention to these personalities, including Lamak bin Malik Al Hammadi, Yahya bin Lamak bin Malik Al Hammadi, and Al Dhu’ib bin Musa Al Wadi’i. These personalities made achievements during their administrative and advocacy work, and left an impact in preserving the scientific and intellectual outputs of the Fatimid Ismaili mission. Therefore, this study aims to unveil some important personalities and those who lived more than one Fatimid caliph, starting with the Caliph Al-Mustansir Billah and ending with the hidden Caliph Al-Tayyib bin Al-Amir, and as a result of the critical conditions that the Fatimid Caliphate experienced in Egypt during the distress Al-Mustansiriya on the one hand, and the need to preserve the legacy of On the other hand, it became clear to us the role of the first of those personalities who undertook this important advocacy and administrative effort, and to follow the program laid down by the advocate of the supportive preachers in the Shirazi religion (d. 470 AH), with the need to transfer the cultural and intellectual heritage of the Fatimid Ismaili call from Egypt To Yemen, and not to lose it, as happened in the Levant, Iraq and Persia, and entrusted that task to Judge Lamak bin Malik Al-Hammadi (d. 491 AH), who carried out the sciences and knowledge he received from the Shirazi da’i and transmitted it in turn to the scholars in Yemen who came after him, who in turn formed the pillar The cultural heritage of the intellectual heritage in Yemen (Yahya bin Lamak, Al-Dhaib bin Musa and others...) The study of these personalities and their efforts and contributions has an effective impact in containing the Fatimid da’wa in its Yemeni role, whether in the administrative or advocacy field, or expanding the horizon of awareness and knowledge of the intellectual and civilizational legacy of the Fatimid da’wa, and enriching its thought and heritage. And the regions of Yemen, India and Sindh on the other hand. The structure of the study included an introduction, a preface, three paragraphs and a conclusion that included the conclusions of the study. The first paragraph came to study the biography of Lamak bin Malik and showed his administrative and advocacy role, and we dealt with his relationship with the Fatimid Caliphate and the Sulayhid preachers and his contemporaries, the second paragraph in which we reviewed the biography of Yahya bin Lamak and his advocacy activity, the achievements he achieved And his attitudes towards some events, as well as his scientific output and writings, and his relationship with scholars and preachers who contemporaneously with him.
