Abstract
Prophet praise poetry is one type of Arabic poetry. It grew up in the sofi environments. It is one aspect of poetry that expresses religious sentiments. Its appearance played an important role in the history of Arabic literature because it is a variety of poetry which has been associated with the most important figure known to the Muslim nation, namely prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. Prophet praise poetry passed through several stages until it reached its completed image from both the moral and artistic perspective that we see in the collections of poets who have made the praise of the Prophet as their ultimate goal. As the poet Abu Nizar is a prolific prophet praise poet and the number of his poems is six, a number that we do not find with other poets who have written in this art before, this research studies these poems which have been compiled and investigated following scientific methodology. The study also highlights their most salient objective advantages. The poet followed the same style of his predecessors. He started the poems by mentioning Madinah which welcomed the prophet; then mentioning Ghowair and Najd which poets usually used to commence their poems with. The rhetoric study highlighted only Abu Nizar's religious poetry because it is the subject of the search. This poetry is different in content and features from other forms of his poetry. Thus, the image is clear and evident in the hands of researchers who are interested in this form of literary trend. The analysis was preceded by introducing the poet's biography and what scholars have said about him; then his teachers, students, and works. The steps followed in prophet praise poetry were highlighted; how they saw stages of development and moved on until this poetry reached the peak of maturity and completeness in the seventh hijra century. The research ended with a list of the used sources and references.
