Abstract
ENVIRONMENTAL GEOMORPHOLOGY OF THE KUCUK MENDERES RIVER DELTA
In this study, by the Ecological Risk Assessment (ERD) Method reviewed and analyzed in Küçük Menederes River that originated from environmental geomorphology problems. In the study different scales of maps, 2014 Landsat satellite images, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) methods and techniques have been utilized. The result of the study found environmental geomorphology problems in delta area depends on environmental pollution due to human factors and tourism impact. Due to the maximum effect on geomorphological environment in coastal zone, sustainable planning should be done primarily in the coastal zone. Under this plan settlement in the delta areas and coastal law to conform with the structuring, delta and coastal planning system needs to be improved.
