One of the most effective ways to prevent increasing environmental pollution in the globalizing world is recycling. In order to ensure sustainable recycling, it is important to prioritize entrepreneurial skills and develop students' awareness of the concept of entrepreneurship from an early age. Based on this, the current study aimed to examine primary school students' opinions about entrepreneurial individuals after a recycling activity they experienced. The research was conducted with 11 students in the 4th grade of a public school. Students first designed products to solve a problem by recycling the waste materials given to them. After experiencing this process, interviews were held about the characteristics of an entrepreneurial individual and how recycling contributes to his/her individual and academic development. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the content analysis method. Students participating in the research defined entrepreneurial individuals as individuals who can think creatively and have manual dexterity. It was also observed that they stated that an entrepreneurial individual would announce the product he designed with the help of newspapers and posters, and that the recycling activity they carried out increased their awareness and sensitivity. It has been suggested to diversify the practices of activities such as recycling, where entrepreneurial skills can be developed, especially at the primary school level.
