Abstract


EXAMINATION OF MATHEMATICS TEACHERS’ ATTITUDES IN GIVING INSTANT FEEDBACK TO STUDENT ERRORS
The study, which was conducted to examine mathematics teachers' attitudes towards giving instant feedback to student errors and whether there are differences in attitudes between different demographic variables, was conducted in a descriptive survey model and with 196 mathematics teachers working in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Çankaya district of Ankara province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The data collected online using the "Attitude Scale on Error and Instant Return" developed by Türkdoğan (2020) were analysed with SPSS software. According to the findings of the research, it was concluded that mathematics teachers had very high attitudes at the level of completely agree in the extrinsic attitude dimension, high attitudes at the level of agree in the intrinsic attitude dimension and the attitude of giving instant feedback; there was a differentiation in the attitudes of giving instant feedback according to gender, education level, age, seniority and title factors, but there was no differentiation according to the branch factor.
