YABANCILARA TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETİMİNDE ATASÖZÜ, DEYİMLER VE KALIP SÖZLERİN ÖĞRETİMİNDE TÜRK EDEBİYATI ÜRÜNLERİNDEN YARARLANMA (MUSTAFA KUTLU’NUN MAVİ KUŞ İSİMLİ ESERİNİN ÖRNEĞİ)
Mustafa Kutlu is one of the first names that come to mind when talking about stories in Turkish literature. In the modern age we live in, she has absorbed the spiritual, cultural and traditional values of Turkish society into her stories by blending them in her mind. Anatolian geography, social and political change, people's way of life, their relations with each other and prevailing traditions take part in her stories. Kutlu makes great use of proverbs and idioms while writing these elements in her stories. Thanks to proverbs and idioms, the individual clearly expresses the society's lifestyle, mentality, values and impressions about life. The aim of this research was to determine the proverbs and idioms in Mustafa Kutlu's work ‘’Mavi Kuş’’ and evaluate its thematic reflection on the story. The Blue Bird work was read and a qualitative research method was applied in the study. Proverbs and idioms were recorded and thematic classification was made by taking them from Şerif Aktaş's Analysis of Literary Texts Based on Narration and Nurullah Genç's Novel Analysis Method. In conclusion, there are themes reflected by proverbs, idioms and stereotypes in Kutlu's ‘’Blue Bird’’. Relative findings are as follows: loneliness, ignorance, conversation, love, poverty, individual and society, generosity, laziness, heredity, and madness. It is noticed within classification that the author gives more place to idioms. Loneliness and heredity to proverbs, and idioms are mostly shaped around the theme of individual and society. These elements represent the richness of the language in teaching process of Turkish to foreigners. Its classification supports easy understanding of proverbs, idioms and phrases.
