Abstract

A REVIEW OF TARIK DURSUN KAKINÇ'S TWO NOVELS [DENİZİN KANI VE KURŞUN ATA ATA BİTER], WHICH DEAL WITH HUMAN EXPLOITATION
Tarik Dursun Kakinc, one of the master pens of Turkish literature, focused on two novels in which he covered the events taking place in two different regions. The common point of the events in these two texts is that the cases occurring in two different geographies of Turkey have similar characteristics. Both works are based on human exploitation. The exploitation of the human and human labor of the system called “ağalık”, which is encountered in different parts of the geography being experienced, has been discussed. The most interesting aspect of these works, which were written in the years when the footsteps of capitalism and imperialism began to be heard, is undoubtedly that the events described in the works take place in two different regions that are very far from each other, despite the fact that they deal with a similar topic. After focusing on the information about the work, the plot, the narrator and point of view, time, space, people, language and style, which are classical methods of reviewing the work, an assessment was made of both works. The sources used at the very end of the study were sorted alphabetically according to the surnames of the authors who prepared the sources.
