Abstract


PISA’DA BAŞARILI ÜLKELERİN EĞİTİM SİSTEMLERİ VE ANADİLİ ÖĞRETİMLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR DERLEME MAKALESİ
PISA (International Student Assessment Program) is implemented every three years in order to follow international innovations in education and to evaluate developing educational systems by taking an example. Since 2000, PISA has shown that education systems can provide high-quality teaching and fair learning opportunities for all, and has become a document that reveals what countries are doing to support their own students, providing opportunities for other countries to learn from each other. The aim of this study is to evaluate native language programs and education systems of Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Ireland, Finland, Canada, which are consistently successful in the top 10, and Sweden, The United States, whose ranking is rising, in PISA in 2012, 2015 and 2018. In this context, a literature review was conducted on the education systems of countries and native language teaching, and the reports, documents and resources published in this context were examined. As a result of the research, it was observed that education structuring, compulsory education, educational vision and mission within the framework of the curricula of countries differ according to local, cultural and economic conditions. It was also found that in countries where are more than one language in educational systems covered by the research, the English teaching curriculum is in the majority with the use of it in 5 countries.
