Abstract


THE INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SITTING-RISING TEST AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL SOME MOTORIC ALONG WITH ANTHROPOMETRIC FEATURES IN WOMEN
Although different measurement methods are used today to determine the physical fitness levels of individuals and to obtain information about their health status, there is no study in the domestic literature that determines these parameters with the sitting-rising test (SRT). The aim of the study [1] is to investigation of the relationship between SRT and physical activity level (PAL), some motoric along with anthropometric features in women, [2] the purpose of the study is to determine the difference between the PAL according to the SRT categories, and some motoric along with anthropometric features. A total of 200 women among the healthy sedentary people between the ages of 35 and 55 voluntarily participated in the study. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between variables, and the One Way Anova test was used to determine the difference between SRT categories. As a result of the data obtained, the negative direction between of women the SRT score and the anthropometric features; It was determined that there is a significant positive correlation between the SRT score and PAL and motor features (p <0.05). As a result, it can be said that the SRT score is related to both anthropometric and motoric features, and these features can be improved by increasing the level of physical activity
