Teachers who were not members of a teacher syndicate were found to have higher continuance and normative commitment than those who were members of a syndicate. It was revealed that teachers who have higher service year have also higher emotional commitment. Teachers from different subject areas didn’t show significant differences in their attitudes towards their emotional, continuance and normative commitment.
