Abstract
MODERN PRESENTATION TECHNIQUES IN ARCHEOLOGY MUSEUM; ESKİŞEHİR ETİ ARCHEOLOGY MUSEUM
Presentation techniques used in archaeological museums in the contemporary world are of significance in the sense that museums are interactive spaces. These techniques are among the key points to create new opportunities for visitors to create attraction and to create or enhance archaeological cultural heritage awareness in the visitor with the experience they have acquired. To identify contemporary presentation techniques used in archeology museums in contemporary world; it was aimed to examine Eskişehir Eti Archeology Museum, which uses contemporary presentation techniques in the context of its intensive tourist capacity, its location and its recent archaeological museum. For this purpose, the concept and development of archeology museum, formation of archaeological museum in Turkey, archaeological cultural heritage - visitor-attraction triumph is explained. Contemporary presentation techniques used in Çağımız archeology museums and Eskişehir Eti Archeology Museum have been determined. In this context, the literature was searched and related laws and regulations were examined. On-site examinations were held at Eskişehir Eti Archeology Museum. As a result of the study, it was observed that the technologies used in Eskişehir Eti Archeology Museum, which was recently built, seemed to strive to interact with visitors, but the potential of the museum could not be sufficiently evaluated; it was understood that the museum experience had to be improved and new exhibition techniques developed had to be used. Thus, it is thought that archaeological heritage can be interested and protection sacrifice can be provided. Has the potential to be a leading museum in the sense that it is an example to the archaeological museums in Turkey.
