Abstract
INNOVATION PROCESS AND INNOVATION–MARKET STRUCTURE RELATIONSHIP IN ENTERPRISES IN KARAMAN, TURKEY
As a result of the globalization of the world, tecnological developments and intensive competitive environment shapen the new investments in enterprises. Already existing enterprises have to follow the new developments and changes in order to increase their profits. To respond effectively to customer demands and reduce production costs, enterprises are constantly looking for innovation and change. The economic growth of developing countries is being provided with new investments and initiatives. Moreover, it is possible to develop by producing high value added products and selling them to domestic and foreign markets. Innovation, on the other hand, is an effective and profitable process that ensures the development of countries and businesses in this process. The market shares of businesses grow and become stronger with the innovations made. To increase foreign trade and total income, businesses will be able to successfully compete innovation-focused projects with global competitors and increase their balance sheet size and profitability. In this study, the effects of the innovation processes of the enterprises in Karaman province on the market structure and endorsement increase were examined.
