Abstract
DEVELOPMENT OF MANAGERIAL SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP PERCEPTION SCALE
In this research, it was aimed to develop a Managerial Spiritual Leadership Perception Scale to determine the perceptions of school administrators' spiritual leadership according to teachers. The study group of the study constitutes 468 teachers working in the high schools located in different districts of Anatolian side of Istanbul in spring semester of 2014-2015 academic year. There were 52 candidate items. After the exploratory factor analysis, a 4-factor scale of 28 items was obtained. The eigen (eigenvalue) values of the four factors ranged from 4.55 to 6.86 and the load values ranged from 16.25 to 24.50, with a total load value of 77.27. The overall reliability of the scale was found to be .98 with cronbach alpha. The internal reliability values of cronbach alpha for the factors of the scale ranged from .93 to .96. The four factors of the scale were found to be between .83 and .89. As a resultit can be said that the 28-item scale can be used to determine the perceptions of school administrators spiritual leadership.
