Abstract
A GLANCE OF THE SCIENTIFIC DIRECTION OF THE QURAN
The main purpose of the Qur'an is to make judges of the unified ones and to guide people to guide them. Due to the nature of the Qur'an's predominance of tawhid and guidance, its exegesis has been made in different forms in line with the needs of man and society at every period, and accordingly many different orientations have emerged. One of these trends is scientific reason.
This tafsir movement began with Ghazālī, and reached its peak with Tantawi Jawhari. However, as it was in the past, criticism has been made about this trend today. The historical course of the direction of this article will be discussed, some views on it will be revealed, and a perspective on the issue will be revealed in order to evaluate the positive and negative aspects.
