Abstract
EXAMINATION OF LIFE SATISFACTION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: HONAZ VOCATIONAL SCHOOL CASE
Life satisfaction, which expresses the satisfaction of the individual’s life in the society and his positive evaluation of life, is a subject that needs to be emphasized for a healthy society. Since healthy society is built with healthy persons. Particularly, young people’s positive thoughts about their life is a very important data for healthy social life. In this context, it is necessary to take into consideration how the university students think about their own life. For this reason, this research is based on university students who represent the younger generation of a country. The aim of this study is to examine life satisfaction of the students who study at Pamukkale University Honaz Vocational School. Life satisfaction of the students who study at Pamukkale University Honaz Vocational School is analyzed according to demographic factors. The sample consists of 340 students. When the outcomes were evaluated life satisfaction of this students are found above average score. A significant relationship has come out between life satisfaction and marital status, departments, income status, whether departments are enough for meet expectations or not. Life satisfaction of students does not differ meaningfully from the gender.
