Abstract
MAIN ASPECTS OF LANGUAGE CONTACT PROCESSES IN KURDISH-TURKISH LANGUAGE CONTACT
Due to language external factors, transferred new elements can reason reshape semantic and structural patterns on different levels of a language. In order to implementation these processes basic code should be lacking transferred or copied elements from model code and internal organization of basic code should be in accordance with these procedures. Depending on intensity and duration of contact, Kurdish as a basic code can transfer or copy Turkish lexical and functional elements. Globally transferred or selectively copied contact elements can be observed from the data when bilinguals produce utterances in their basic code. Besides these Kurdish bound morphemes such as izafe particle and oblique case marker continue their function with new elements to construct mixed utterance parts. Additionally Kurdish auxiliary verbs are used constantly by bilinguals and they function like constraint effects of model code.
