Abstract
FROM SERIK (ANTALYA) YORUKS DIALECTS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE "COMPILATION DICTIONARY"
Language features of Turkish dialects is rescued from extinction thanks to the compilation studies. Led by the Turkish Language Association of Auditors founded in 1932, "The Journal of Public Opinion Compilation in Turkey" was unearthed. The institution continued to work and combining old and new materials brought the "Dictionary of Compilation" between the years 1963 and 1979. This dictionary is the most basic work that reveals the existence of the Turkish dialects. Especially, if we assume that the dialects are unresisting to time and space, as the studies on the dialects continues to increase "Compilation Dictionary" will also be enriched. In this study, local language materials in Antalya's Serik Yuruks districts dialects will be classified and given which are unaccompanied in the "Compilation Dictionary". In these dialects, words which are listed in the dialects of Serik Yuruks without meaning located in "Compilation Dictionary" or although these words take part in the "Compilation Dictionary” but not shown to belong to Antalya dialects will also be given under the related title.
