Abstract
THE VIEWS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ON SOCIAL GENDER, IDEAL MALE, IDEAL FEMALE AND IDEAL MARRIAGE
The aim of this study is to examine female university students' gender, ideal male, ideal woman and women and men's thoughts on ideal marriage. Measuring instrument was used which his developed by the first author in the study, by doing preliminary application by the first and second researchers and which is with validity and reliability tested by expert opinion. Measuring tool was applied to 26 female students selected by appropriate sampling method, who are at a university located in the Central Black Sea Region in the academic year 2016-2017. Content analysis in analysis of the data, the SPSS 15.0 program for identifying descriptive statistics was used. As a result of their search, the participants mostly had the feminine gender feature and most of them were not seen as boyfriends. Furthermore, in this study, it is expressed that most participant men and women should bear the features of trust, respect, love and showing interest when looking at the example stories, most participants expressed that marriage is a common structure and there should be a mutual understanding in marriage. Also, it was found that some participants consider using a constructive way to continue marriage.
