Abstract
AL-FATAH AND HAMAS FACTOR IN PALESTINE ISSUE
The question of Palestine is regarded as one of the most complicated international problems of the 20th century. This question between Palestine and Israel gave birth to Al-Fatah and HAMAS to represent Palestinian people against Israel. However, an internal conflict arose due to the political dissidence between the secular Al-Fatah and Islamist HAMAS. Our study aims to shed light on the reasons of the conflict between Al-Fatah and HAMAS and thoroughly discuss the process beginning from 1948 when Israel was founded. Vernacular and foreign sources wer used to set up a substructure for the study. At the end of study, it was concluded that Israel tried to passivate the nationalist elements since the day it was founded and wanted to maintain the disunity between Al-Fatah and HAMAS.
