Abstract
VALORIZATION OF LEISURE TIMES
A very significant branch of Sociology is the Sociology of Leisure Times. Making much of leisure times constitutes an alternative occupation with respect to work. Play is a necessity for grown-ups as well as for children. Recreation through hobbies acquires a useful and constructive meaning. Hobbies attain even more important relaxing functions in the case of stressful professions. High quality conversation sessions with friends also provide excellent psychological relief for the individual.
