Abstract
THE EFFECTS OF SPIRITUAL VALUES ON CAREER VALUES IN CAREER CHOICE: A RESEARCH ON STUDENTS
Career planning period which is an important part in human being life, force people to make a choice from many alternatives. Perceived individual career values and moral values are effective in a career choice. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the relationship between students’ moral values and individual career values within the context of career choice. The sample of the study is the students of Kyrgyzstan - Turkey Manas University. A field research has been conducted through a questionnaire on students to determine their perceptions about career choice. The findings have been interpreted by statistical analysis using obtained data in SPSS computer program. According to the results of the research it has determined that moral values affect students’ career choice. Moral values explains approximately one quarter the individual career values. In other words, career choice is partially affected by moral values but it is mostly affected by other factors outside of moral values.
