Abstract
EĞİTİMDE İLETİŞİM MODELLERİ
This study aims to explain “the models of communication in education.” It is limited with the educational institutions. Underlining the importance of effective communication, it illustrates the ways to set up an effective student-teacher communication by using scanning model. In 21st century, which is called communication era as well, the communication problems in education remain unsolved. One of the main reasons behind this is the educators’ lack of self-development in communication. It is a fact that there will no educational issues in a classroom where the quality communication is adopted. Aren’t there any communicational issues in other areas? Of course, there are. We instantly communicate all day long except sleeping. Sometimes we may misunderstand the messages directed to us because of our mood, culture and environment and have conflicts. However we can eliminate the misunderstandings with a good quality communication.One of the most important parts of our lives is the one with people, regardless of our age, sex or job. An educator is unsuccessful and unhappy with a student if they communicate incorrectly, while he or she is happier and more successful with the one communicating correctly. We should bear in mind that effective communication brings about a happier and more successful life and unlocks all doors.
