Abstract
THE FORMATION OF THE TRAVEL BOOK GENRE IN UZBEK LITERATURE AND ITS ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION IN ÇOLPON'S WORKS
This article provides information about Çolpan's work, "Vayronalar Orasında." The work's genre characteristics and composition are analyzed. Thoughts on the travelogue genre are presented. The laws of the travelogue genre are theoretically grounded. The travelogue is compared in terms of travel writing and road notes. The characters and events within the travelogue genre are analyzed. The author's language and approach to events are scientifically evaluated. The genres of travelogue differ depending on the author's approach. The forms and aspects of the travelogue genre are diverse. Travelogues written in an artistic style, travelogues with a strong journalistic dimension, travelogues written in a diary format, travelogues written as memoirs, and travelogues based on letters—while differing in form, they share common purpose and function. The travelogue genre is divided into genres based on journalistic and literary orientations, in accordance with the laws of letters, diaries, interviews, and literary works. Çolpan's work, "Vayronalar Orasında," reflects on his travels to Osh, Andijan, and Jalalabad.
