Abstract
KADIN OKUL YÖNETİCİLERİN KARŞILAŞTIKLARI SORUNLAR
Education is an important issue in developed societies because it creates desired behavioral changes in individuals. The education sector is dominated by women because teaching and child education are considered more suitable for women. The Ministry of National Education reports that 2.8% of school principals, 5% of primary school principals and 12% of assistant principals at all levels are women. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine the problems faced by female school administrators working in Polatlı district of Ankara province in the management process. The research sample is 15 female school administrators. MAXQDA 2020 software, a well-known qualitative data analysis program, was used in the content analysis approach. In the results, it was determined that the participants encountered prejudice about the prejudice against women administrators in educational organizations and that they were seen as incompetent. Regarding the impact of being a female school administrator on family life, the participants mostly mentioned the problem of neglecting children.
