Abstract
VERB CONJUGATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MOUTH OF AMASYA
Amasya has hosted different civilizations throughout history, such as the Hittites, Phrygians, Lydians, and Persians. Amasya, which was an important city center during the Anatolian Seljuk period, became a sanjak center under the Ottoman Empire. After the republic was declared, it became a province in 1924. Dialects express an important cultural richness, and satisfactory information cannot be reached without scientific studies on them. Although dialect studies have been carried out in the Amasya region in recent years, it is observed that it is not sufficient. In this study, the dialects spoken in the Amasya region were compiled from interviews with people living in different districts and villages of Amasya and the Amasya dialect was examined in terms of morphology, shape and tense suffixes, and modal suffixes. Personal attachments in reviews; As first person suffixes and second person suffixes, tenses of verbs in shape and tense suffixes were evaluated as past tense seen, learned past tense, present tense, future tense and present tense. The modal suffixes are; It has been dealt with imperative-request, conditional and necessity modal, and usage examples have been embodied by explaining with examples in first, second and third person singular and plural.
