Abstract
THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF THE QUR'AN RECITATION (IN THE EXAMPLE OF MUS'AB B. UMEYR)
Human is a social entity. It evolves materially and spiritually by going through certain stages. The period between childhood and adulthood is described as adolescence. During this period, young people take on different roles mentally, spiritually and physically. Hz. Around the Prophet, there were people over the age of twelve. Ali, Abdullah b. We see companions like Abbas. One of them was Mus'âb b. It is Umeyr.
Our work includes the efforts of exemplary young people. The inductive method was used. The Quran, Sunnah and field-related commentaries were used. Hz. The issue of how the Prophet raised young people will be discussed. We will try to explain the responsibilities and sacrifices young people take in learning and teaching the Quran. The principles that today's young people, who have national and spiritual values, will take responsibility and apply in teaching the Quran to new generations will be listed. Prophet Muhammad stated in his hadiths that he was sent as a teacher. He took special care of talented, intelligent, young companions. He sent young companions to various countries and cities as Quran teachers. Throughout history, Muslims have endeavored to learn, teach, read, understand, interpret and live the Quran.
