Abstract
ACCORDİNG TO ABU ISHAQ AL-SHİRAZİ, CONCİSE AND MUBEYYAN WORDS
The wording has been classified in various ways by the scholars of the method, based on the extensions of the texts in the Qur'an and the Sunnah, which constitute the basis of the fiqh provisions, and the later ones, on the basis of the fiqh provisions built on these texts. One of the examples of this is the classification of the word in terms of its reference to a decree. One of the types of words that are considered in this classification is mucmel and mubeyyan words that are like its explanation. The meaning of these words, which is important for understanding what Shari's intention is with words, has been handled in different ways by the scholars of fiqh and therefore they have been interpreted in different ways. Abu Ishaq Shirazi, whose views on mucmel and mubeyyan are included in the article, is accepted as one of the most important representatives of Shafi'i fiqh method scholars. Therefore, his approach to the subject of mucmel and mubeyyan seems to be very important in terms of shedding light on this subject.
