Abstract
AN EXAMINATION OF CARTOON MOVIES BROADCAST ON TRT CHILDREN'S CHANNEL IN TERMS OF MAIN LANGUAGE TEACHING
In this research, it is aimed to examine the role of cartoons in mother tongue teaching. The research was conducted using the document analysis model, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data group of the study consists of twenty episodes of the Turkish My Home cartoon selected by simple random sampling. The data were analyzed with the descriptive analysis method, which is one of the qualitative data analysis methods. In order to increase the validity and reliability, one-to-one quotations were made from the examined sections together with their seconds.
