Abstract
EXAMINATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM LEADERSHIP LEVELS OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALS FROM TEACHER'S PERSPECTIVE (SAMPLE OF ÜNYE DISTRICT OF ORDU PROVINCE)
In this study, it is aimed to examine the curriculum leadership behaviors of the school principals they work with from the eyes of the teachers. The universe of the study consists of teachers who work in official primary, secondary and high schools in Ünye district of Ordu province. 211 teachers, who were reached by the easily accessible sampling method, participated in the study. As a data collection tool in the research, School Principals' Curriculum Leadership, consisting of 24 items and 3 sub-dimensions, developed by Bayırlı and Balcı (2021), was used by the researcher after obtaining necessary permissions. It has been found that the perceptions of the teachers participating in the study are "most of the time" the curriculum leadership of the school principals they work with. T-test and analysis of variance methods were used to analyze the differences according to demographic variables. According to the analyzes carried out during the research process, it was found that the educational program leadership levels of school administrators did not show a significant difference in the context of the variables of gender, marital status, education level and professional seniority of the participating teachers, but it was observed that there was no significant difference depending on the school type variable. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference depending on the educational program leadership and the type of school in all sub-dimensions. In addition, it was observed that there was a significant difference in the variables of gender and professional seniority in the curriculum control sub-dimension.
