Abstract
INVESTIGATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS' SELF-EFFICACY PERCEPTIONS IN TERMS OF VARIOUS VARIABLES: THE CASE OF ORDU PROVINCE
This study aimed to determine the self-efficacy perception level of primary school principals was carried out in Ordu province. 116 School principals working in public elementary schools in the 2021-2022 academic year across the province of Ordu constitute the sample group of the study. All the principals participating in the study voluntarily participated in the study and were determined by an easily accessible sampling method. The data required to achieve the purpose of the study were collected through the Demographic Information Form created by the researcher and the School Principal Self-Efficacy Perception Scale developed by Baltacı (2020). The results obtained from the data of the research analyzed by the SPSS Program are as follows: The self-efficacy perception levels of elementary school principals are at the level of “quite adequate”. The situation of primary school principals participating in in-service training on gender, age and education management does not constitute significant differences in their self-efficacy perception levels, while their educational status and managerial seniority constitute significant differences.
