Abstract


DECIPHERING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB SATISFACTION LEVEL AND INNOVATIVE THINKING TENDENCIES OF PRESCHOOL TEACHERS
The universe of this study, which was conducted to determine the relationship between the job satisfaction levels of preschool teachers and their innovative thinking tendencies, consists of Antalya province, and the sample consists of 156 preschool teachers working in Aksu, Kepez, Serik, Manavgat districts of Antalya, determined by the easily accessible sampling method. The data required for the research were collected with the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher, the Minnesota Satisfaction Scale translated into Turkish by Baycan (1985), and the Innovative Thinking Tendency Scale for Preschool Teachers developed by Bilir (2021). Statistical Package Program was used for the analysis of the data and the results were discussed within the framework of the literature. The results obtained in the light of the research data are as follows: There is a very poor positive relationship between teachers' work satisfaction levels and their innovative thinking tendency levels. While teachers' job satisfaction levels do not show a statistically significant difference in terms of teachers' gender, age, marital status, and educational status; It has been concluded that there are differences in favor of teachers with professional seniority between 11-20 years in the variable of professional seniority. Teachers' innovative thinking tendency levels do not show a statistically significant difference in terms of teachers' gender, age, marital status, educational status, and professional seniority.
