Abstract


TEACHER OPINIONS ON THE EFFECTS OF FAMILY PARTICIPATION ON TEACHER MOTIVATION IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION: AN EXAMPLE OF SINCAN DISTRICT OF ANKARA PROVINCE
In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of family participation in education on teacher motivation in preschool period. The data of the study were collected by applying a semi-structured interview form consisting of 4 questions prepared by the researcher to 10 preschool teachers determined by the random sampling method. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method and the results obtained were discussed within the framework of the literature. As a result of the research, some suggestions have been made for the problems identified.. The results obtained from the research are as follows: The fact that parents make criticisms that exceed the purpose in family participation negatively affects teacher motivation. Voluntary participation of the family in school activities; timely provision of the necessary tools for the student and cooperation with the teacher positively affect the motivation of the teacher.
