Abstract
PROBLEMS FACING THE STUDENTS OF THE ARTISTIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT IN A SUBJECT OF ART APPRECIATION AND CRITIQUE
The current research aims to identify the problems facing the fourth grade students/art education department/college of fine arts in subject of art taste and critique, to verify this aim, the researchers have prepared a questionnaire includes four fields and the researchers verified its sincerity and consistency and applied to a sample of (56) students of the fourth grade/ artistic education department/college of fine arts of two universities (mosul, diyala) for the academic year 2018-2019 the results indicate that there are many problems faced by students in the subject of art taste and critique criticism through the statistical analysis of the results of questionnaire the percentage weight of the material in general and per field are used, with the percentage of the material (%73.03), the field of teaching methods and educational materials (%77.68), assessment field (%77.14), subject content field (%71.73), the field of teaching style (%65.60), thus the research came out with a set of conclusions, including several reasons for the problems experienced by students in the material of art appreciation and critique of it (teacher of the material, including the administrative bodies). The research extracted a set of recommendations, including the use of the current research material in the detection about the problems faced by students in art taste and critique, the research offered suggestions including to study the problems facing students of arts colleges in art taste and critique..
