Abstract
TÜRK VE ÖZBEK ÖYKÜLERİNDE KÖPEK KARAKTERİNİN SADIKLIK SEMBOLÜ OLARAK YORUMU
This article illustrares the comparative analysis of the image of the dog in Turkish and Uzbek stories. Examples of the features of the dog image as a symbol of devotion are revealed using following works: "Black Eyed Peas" by Said Ahmad, "In the Steppes" by Murat Muhammad Dost, "A Few Words of Humanity About Dogs" by Samipashazade Sezai, "Humanity and the Dog" by Umar Sayfiddin and “Dog” by Sabahattin Ali. In the literature of both nations, the devotion and fidelity of the dog image to humanity is narrated on the basis of real stories. It also provides information on the artistic interpretation of the dog image in mystical literature.
