Abstract
ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ ÇATIŞMA KAVRAMINA VE ÖĞRETİMDE ÇATIŞMA YÖNETİMİ SÜRECİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ
In this study, it was aimed to determine how the concept of conflict, which is perceived as a deterioration or interruption of communication in interpersonal relations, is perceived by teacher candidates. The research was carried out with the qualitative method. The questions in the interview form prepared in accordance with the purpose were directed to the pre-service teachers who volunteered to participate in the research. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The findings obtained as a result of the examination were interpreted by making comparisons with the research findings in the literature. In the answers given by the pre-service teachers in the context of defining the concept of conflict, they often include discourses that reveal the existence of negative communication, This situation, which they associate the concept of conflict with negative elements, is also reflected in the metaphors produced, in terms of conflict resolution suggestions, it was concluded that the teacher candidates mostly preferred consensus.
