Abstract


INVESTIGATION OF GRADUATE STUDIES ON SCHOOL CLIMATE: A CONTENT ANALYSIS STUDY
This study is a content analysis study aimed at examining the theses on school climate between the years 2010-2020 in Turkey. The theses, which are the data source of this study, in which the qualitative research method was used, were downloaded from the general web from the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) by scanning through the keyword "School Climate". A total of 60 dissertations were researched. These studies were examined through document review in terms of the year the theses were published, the types of the theses, the university they were prepared, the method, the type of school, data analysis techniques, data collection tools and the distribution according to the sample size. Findings reached in the research: When the distribution of the theses on school climate is examined by years, the most theses were published in 2018, 2019 and 2020, while no research was conducted in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Most of the research is master's thesis. According to the findings, the most commonly used measurement tool in theses is the scale. According to the results obtained in the research, the most quantitative method was used. In most of the studies, 501 or more samples were preferred.
