Abstract
TURKISH HISTORIOGRAPHY IN ACCORDANCE WITH IDEA OF HISTORIAN KERİM K. KEY
In this study, will hold the brief history life of Kerim Kami Key who was the son of Liberal Entente and poet Hüseyin Kami. He was born in Istanbul, 1913. Key, complete the required training in Istanbul, in 1939 he moving to the United States then received the US citizenship in 1942. He did his MA and doctorate on the historical development and the origins of modern Turkey. In his long academic life, lectured on history, trade, Middle East and modern Turkey throughout various universities of the United States. The real purpose of this is that to revise the evaluation of Key's importance of thinking about modern Turkish historiography is to provide information to the new Turkish generation of the historians.
