In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of classroom teachers regarding the transition from pre-school education to primary school period and to examine the expected cooperation situation between institutions. The research, which was carried out using qualitative method, was carried out in a case study design. 6 classroom teachers working in primary schools constitute the study group of the research. The focus group interview form prepared and the observation form filled out based on the teachers' observations are the tools used in data collection. The data obtained from the focus group meeting consisting of 3 sessions and the observation form were analyzed with content analysis technique and digitized with frequency and percentage values. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the classroom teachers found pre-school education very important in terms of skill acquisition and that it should be brought to the fore in terms of the adaptation process. It has been determined that they think that the need for regulations on cooperation between both teaching levels should be addressed not only within the scope of teacher-student interaction, but also the dimensions of school administrators, parents, and ministries in a way that includes and provides holistic cooperation.
