Abstract
THE EVALUATION OF THE ARABIC LANGUAGE BOOK FOR THE FIRST INTERMEDIATE GRADE FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF APPLIED STUDENTS
The present study aimed at ( evaluating the Arabic language textbook
for the first intermediate grade from the point of view of applied
students) The study sample consisted of (50) female students from
the Arabic language Department at the College of Education in Ibn
Rushd, and the researcher adopted the descriptive approach because
it is compatible with her research procedures through a
questionnaire that included (2) A paragraph distributed into five
area ,which is the first area, the introduction to the book , and it
consisted of ( a paragraph and the second area the content of the
book and consisted of (20) paragraphs and the third field activities
(examples and exercises) and it consisted of (20) paragraphs and the
fourth area was the language of the book and it consisted of (3)
paragraphs and the fifth field The technical output of the book and
it consisted of (10) paragraphs distributed to the individuals of the
research sample after finding its validity and reliability . The
researcher adopted the Pearson correlation coefficient, the weighted
mean, and the seminal weight as statistical means and the
percentage as an arithmetic method to deal with the research result
statistically. The researcher reached a number of conclusions,
including: The contend of the book did not contribute to achieving
the general objective of the material nor did it improve the skill of.
The language of the book needs to be modified and reformulated to
suit the mental level. The shape of the book and its artistic output
needs to be modified and reformulated to suit the mental level. The

order to increase the students interest the in light of the findings of
the current research. The researcher recommends the following:Reconsider writing the Arabic language grammar book according to
quality standards. The need to take into account the opinions of
teachers of the Arabic language and its teachers in improving this
book and involving them in the authoring and development
committees. The researcher suggested the following: Evaluating the
Arabic language grammar books for middle school according to
quality. Evaluating the Arabic grammar books for middle school
