Abstract
ANALYSIS OF THE EMOTIONS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE DIARY
The purpose of this research is to determine the emotions middle school students experience in their diaries. In line with this purpose, it was aimed to determine which emotions middle school students experience the most and the frequency of these feelings. Detection of these emotions can be used by teachers to better understand their students' feelings. Turkey is a state west of the working group of the study okulunda7. It consists of 61 students attending the class. Case study design was used in the research. Descriptive analysis and content analysis were used to analyze qualitative data. When the results obtained in the study were examined, it was determined that many students did not know how to write a diary. It has been determined that students who write diary by conveying emotions have psychological relief. Apart from these, it has been determined that female students need more writing, some students cannot write diary due to privacy violation, problematic students need to write more, and which feelings are mostly repeated in diaries.
