Abstract
TEACHER OPINIONS ABOUT WRITTEN EXPRESSION PROBLEMS IN TEACHING TURKISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: SKOPJE YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE EXAMPLE
One of the four basic skills in teaching Turkish as a foreign language is writing. Writing skill is known as the last skill in language teaching to complete all skills chronologically. In this study, 4 instructors working at Skopje Yunus Emre Enstitute in the 2020-2021 academic year ; A semi-structured interview form consisting of 7 open-ended questions was applied in order to indicate the observations and determinations of students who learn Turkish as a foreign language regarding written expression problems. In the interview forum, there are questions about the demographic structure of the teachers and the problems of students' written expression. Our application was limited to 4 teachers and lasted 40 minutes. Participants were randomly coded as K1, K2…. Descriptive survey model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this article study. Based on the findings we obtained from the instructor's opinions, the students' most vowel and consonant harmony in phonetic errors ; morphological errors in case suffixes and tenses ; in the wrong order of sentence elements in syntactic errors ; It was determined that he made mistakes in semantic errors and negative quotations. Solution suggestions for these mistakes are presented in our study.
