Abstract
SCHOOL MUSEUM IN THE HISTORY
The concept of school museums rather than today a few centuries ago has value. In 1986, it was understood that the Ministry of National Education had prepared the “Guidelines for School Museums”. But especially at the end of the XIX. century, the schools were examined school museums in various physical qualities of schools. It is concluded that the school museum is seen as a necessary element in any school. As educational institutions, schools have facilities such as laboratories, library, conference hall and other classes. In addition, the museum is expected to contribute to education. School museums will have a positive impact on the interest and relevance of social sciences. In this study, museums whıch introduce cultural heritage to young people will be analyzed in terms of status of schools. The concept of school museum will be evaluated in different dimensions
