Abstract
THE VIEWS OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS ABOUT ORGANIZATIONAL SILENCE
The purpose of this study is to investigate educational organizations’ employees organizational silence perceptions in terms of demographic characteristics. The research was carried out with 149 educational organizations’ employees as teachers and administrators who work in different kinds of high schools in Bursa. Data was collected through organizational silence questionnaire. ANOVA analysis and t-test were applied to evaluate data. It was observed that the teschers’ perceptions of organizational silence is at the high level as a result of the analysis.. It was concluded that teachers' organizational silence levels were “high” in the school environment, emotion and isolation sub-dimensions, and“ medium ”in the source of the silence and the administrator sub-dimensions. A significant difference was found in the perception of organizational silence according to school type.
