Abstract


THE INVESTIGATION OF THE COURSE MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT / USE OF TURKISH TEACHERS WORKING IN SCIENCE AND ART CENTERS
The aim of this research is to reveal the situation on the course materials development and use of Turkish teachers working in Science and Art Center, teachers' views on the use of materials and various practices in the activity process. By the date of the study, there are 72 Turkish teachers working in Science and Art Center. 20 Turkish teachers who have been interviewed are the samples of the research. In this study, interview method was used. Open-ended questions were directed to Turkish teachers working in Science and Art Centers by using the semi-structured interview form. The answers given to each question were read to be evaluated within themselves, and the similar responses were classified according to the same category. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by descriptive analysis. Teachers said that the use of material in BİLSEM was efficient but the resource was inadequate and stated that the students in BİLSEM needed more interesting materials because they had higher expectations.
