Abstract
AN EVALUATION ON THE SKILLS OF OBEYING TURKISH SPELLING AND PUNCTUTATION RULES OF SYRIAN REFUGEES (THE SAMPLE OF ADIYAMAN TENT CITY)
The spelling and punctutation rules are the basic criterion for correct reading and understanding of an article. It is an inevitable situation that misunderstanding of sentence in Turkish language when a coniunction must be separate is written contiguous; and also when there is no punctutation after a word although it should be used. The spelling and punctutation rules must be complied with for avoiding such misunderstandings in the writing language. It is seen too important that using skills of Turkish spelling and punctutation of Syrian Refugees living in Adıyaman (Tent City) at this topic even the students/people whose native language is Turkish couldn’t still learn thoroughly, also mostly made mistakes. At this article; various assessments will be made on the spelling and punctutation rules of the Turkish compositions written by Syrian students living in Adıyaman city; and also some data will be given about those mistakes from the most frequently to the least. The data obtained will contribute for the steps to be taken about teaching Turkish to Arabian, and the studies will be done anymore.
