Abstract
SOUND DEVELOPMENT AND WRITING COMPARISONS OF DİVÂN-I LÜGAT’İT TÜRK
In this study, compared the differences between the two study which Besim Atalay “Divân ü Lügat’it Türk”, Talat Tekin “XI Yüzyıl Türk Şiiri” and Fıtrat “En Eski Türk Edebiyatı Numuneleri”. The following conclusion have been reached in this study: Some sounds change in the same words.
The "n (ñ)" nasal sound development in old Turkish languages and with the "Divân ü Lügat’it Türk" have been shown with examples. In DLT (Divân ü Lügat’it Türk), sound “ñ”in the form of audio “nk” we said. It shows the difference between ڭ ñ and گ g sound values. For instance: kinkeşdi (kiñ eşdi), sünkeşdi (süñeşdi), manka (maña), anık (anıñ), ankar (añar), künklüm (küñlüm), yalınkuk (yalıñuk) yüzinkke (yüziñe), tinlinkni (tılıñnı). In addition to this, we can see both form k and g of the many words: erk> erig, ülük>ölüg, ükreyü>ügriyü.
The results of this study, sound g (such as sound ñ) may be among the influential voices. Examples are given in this differences.
