Abstract
AS A SOCIAL REVOLIOTANARY SPARTACUS AMIRI’S INTIFADA AGAINST AMERCo-ROME
The attack on World Trade Center in the US on 9/11, 2001 changed the face of international relations, in particular; between the US and Islamic countries. Amiri Baraka is one of the most formidable voices of the protest and who questioned the validity of political decisions which led military actions to the countries which claimed to take part in the action. The poem brought back past lives of oppressed coloured and others to the present, also exposed Manichaist psyche of the ruling elite of the US. The poem can be regarded as a manifesto for colonial Powers treatment of others, the Barbarians.
