Abstract
THE REFLECTION OF THE RESULTS OF THE MIGRATION ON CHILDREN TO STATISTICS AND THE PLACE OF THE LITERATURE
Migration is a phenomenon that deeply affects societies no matter what the cause, and has always led to important social changes. No doubt, the most affected group is children. Children's lives can change completely due to migration and children can face many dangers. This study was designed to draw attention to the children affected by the migration, to discuss the consequences of migration on children, and to reflect on the literature of our country. In this context, data of organizations such as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have been included and their reports have been examined. According to the reports; In the last five years in Turkey, migrant and refugee children who have been exposed to horrific human rights abuses in the effort to reach Europe; deprived of the right to education, problems experienced in education, the problems of the children of immigration, child labor, infectious diseases, child deaths, substance abuse, early marriages, child brides, conflict, crime, such as the occurrence of issues such as working themes have been identified. It was concluded that the effects of migration on children were quite threatening and alarming. Many disciplines have responsibilities in this regard. Among these disciplines, nurses have important roles in protecting the health of immigrant children. Therefore, the effects of migration on children should be determined and appropriate initiatives should be made.
