Abstract
THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES AND THE REPUBLIC OF SUDAN 1971-2004
The research aims at giving a historical perspective on the nature of the political relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Sudan, which in many sources described history as old and ancient. The time frame of the study was established in 1971, the establishment of the United Arab Emirates and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, 2004 by the end of the last rule of the UAE. The relations between the two sides fluctuated due to political fluctuations and military crises and military conflicts in the internal and external environment, but this did not prevent the establishment of friendly relations and bilateral between the parties. The reason for this is the foreign policy of the United Arab Emirates, which is characterized by non-interference in the affairs of the other two, respect for the sovereignty of states and adherence to the Arab and international charters, as well as the Republic of Sudan, which was witnessing a lot of political unrest, which in turn reflected on its positions from the events witnessed by the Arab political scene, In need of Arab support in general and financial and humanitarian aid - in particular, these things have made the relations between the two parties experiencing situations of tension and instability.
